The following criteria must be met in order to successfully order your Freedom Ring:
1. You must be a registered user on Virtual Armory.
2. You must know your username and password to login to the site. (Your username and password for Virtual Armory are generally NOT the same as your AKO.)
3. You must have been nominated by your State POC. (Although you may have received a card instructing you to order your Freedom Ring there is a possibility that you have not been entered into our system by the Freedom Salute POC for your state. This is not meant to imply that you do not qualify for the ring.
If you meet all of the criteria above:
- Login to Virtual Armory.
- Check your Personal Profile to make sure that your Personal Profile is updated with your current address. The 'Update Profile' link is located on the left had side of the page.
- Order your Freedom Ring. The 'Order Freedom Ring' link is located on the right hand of the page under the Promotions section. Or use the 'Freedom Salute' link located on the left hand side of the page.
If you do have forgotten your Username and Password:
- Visit http://www.virtualarmory.com/ForgotPassword/default.aspx to retrieve your Login information.
*If you do not receive an email from Virtual Armory within 30 minutes, this indicates that your account did not specify an AKO email account. Please contact the Virtual Armory helpdesk at (703) 415-1202 between the hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm EST.
- Or submit a new Help Desk Ticket requesting your login information.
If you login to order your Freedom Ring and you receive the message "You have not been nominated for the Freedom Ring":
